Ronmor Developers and McKinley Burkart team up to create a showpiece on the corner of 20th Street and 33rd Ave SW, in the heart of Marda Loop in Calgary, AB.  The Odeon is a mixed use building with office space above and Blush Lane Organic Market on the ground floor.

Rieger Architectural Products supplied over 3,000 sf of Polycon panels to help bring the designers vision to reality. The Polycon panels are glass reinforced fibre concrete (GFRC), molded with formliners to create this one of a kind wood grain look!

The panels are mounted with a hidden fastener rain screen mounting system. The aluminum substructure consists of ETEM’s rail, clips and Keil anchors which support the weight of the 13mm thick panels. Using a concealed mounting system ensured the wood grain surface of the GFRC panels was not interrupted by exposed fasteners.

Polycon panels can be made with many surface textures ranging from natural stone or brick to geometric patterns.  Custom surface textures are also possible.  Contact us for more information!
