Banker Wire's New Flexible Mesh

The term “Flexible” is used to categorize products of wire mesh in which the construction method creates a loose intersection where the wires cross over one another. This flexible weave is constructed of a spiral shaped wire that links together with a rod that passes through the spiral shape’s opening. Together, these links combine to create a belt. Rigid in the direction of the spiral, a belt’s length dimension is defined once tension is applied, allowing the spiral and rod to nest. Without tension, the spiral mesh length can be collapsed into a tight bundle. Therefore, this flexible situation calls for a system that can control these characteristics in an effective way for the built environment.

Banker offers these tension fastening systems for flexible mesh:

  • Round thread

  • Slope

  • Wrap

  • Flat Thread
